Anyone know of a really good Flash CS3 book that teaches really advanced animations? I know all the basics of flash animation, tweens and making objects bounce and all that, but I want to make a really advanced flash website with lots of cool animations. Words that roll on hovers really cool, page changers that look like real pages flipping, just really cool difficult animations. Any book I have found so far are just teaching basic flash, I want something more advanced. Any suggestions???

What should I do to better learn Macromedia Flash 8 Pro? (Beginner)? So far, i've learned how to make dress up games...I've made 3 already. They're quite fun, but once you understand how to do that, it gets boring. I want to learn how to make flash animations, but I don't know how to start. Hello, Last year we had a sub come in to teach our history class, and he has a flash animation that showed the progression of all the Battles in World War 2. Where can I find tools for animation/flash creation? I've noticed that a lot of people make videos and games online (I actually got the idea from Newgrounds) some of these videos are not great so I assume that they are amatures. I've never done anything like that either but I think it would be really cool to give it a try. help with my new animation i have finally found the inspiration to find a story long enough to produce a cartoon/ flash animation my story starts with a stick guy walking down a street. he drinks a can of some kind of drink and throws it away. at this point, we see another character (or his feet) and then a litter stick comes and picks up the can. the story follows this along, and ends up with a huge big fight where the girl of his dreams that he has justr met that very minute (although the captors dont know this) at first he wants to walk away, but then he fights, because he realises that they are doing it to be mean, over just a can. he destroys the location, and kills the people (or at least, really badly hurts them) she sees how violent and evil he is, and leaves him, and he is left in the dust, upset... it ha underlying morals on littering, anti violence, and also has no meaning at all :D basically, i cant come up with a name. the character has no name (deliberate) and i just want a cool name for the animation. its my first one as well, so i want it to make an impact :) ty in advance

Overheating... Why? and Which part? Hello Everyone! I'd like you to help me with my PC. So the problem is, that it's really like to overheat.. I dunno which part it is... and I already installed two 8cm case fans. The only thing I know, is when I'm using Live Messenger and I have a lot of animated emoticons or I have a web page opened with a lot of Flash animation, like banners or YouTube, after a while it starts to overheat. (i can hear silent beeping sound from the speakers) and the framerate is decreasing as well... so I cant do anything useful until that part is cooled down again... So which part would it most likely be? Maybe the the graphics card? (if it's task to work with the animations) Please help! Thank you very much! well, thats my very old config.: Intel Celeron 1.7Ghz, (P4) ABIT BD7-2 mainboard Geforce3 Ti200 graphics I have SpeedFan installed, and it says my Temp1 is around 40°C (im sure its the cpu), but Temp 2 is 60°C, and I dont know which part is temp2!! And hey!!! i have another Temp1 but its 44°C so its not a problem... Whats your opinion? Is Temp2 the mainboard's chipset, or the graphic card's chipset? C# GUI animation, how is it done? How can I make animation on MS Visual Studio C# as I saw an application in a seminar that was done using MS Visual Studio but when you see the animations and movement you have got to say that this is Flash. The animation of buttons was soo smooth and looked sooo nice, and they even made some cool animating transitions between a form and another. I really want to know how did these guys did it?? And is this something new that MS did in there new products?? Thanks! They told us in the seminar that this wasn't flash this was done using MS Visual Studio. That is why they showed us that piece of demo. The one thing that they also said, and I forgot to mention is, one of them told us that these animations are done easily in Visual Studio, you just have to click and make the line that the object should follow in animation and after that you have a well finished animation button. It looked so neat!!

I've never taken any art classes, but i'm going to next year, and the year after I'm going to take a cartooning class, and the year after THAT I'm going to go to a special program for my county to help me learn animation - Flash, original, the works. one of my friends is taking that class right now and it sounds REALLY cool. BYU Provo has a REALLY good animation program, and I really want to get in - but they only let in 30 people a year into that major. This animation program comes up with some of the best - a lot of people that did Spiderman were in/from BYU. I am LDS (mormon), and I attend Seminary and church regularly and have a growing testimony. I live in an area where there are a lot of us Latter-Day Saints. However, I keep hearing that people go to BYU to get married and I'm not sure I want that until after college. Is it just a myth?

When i try to download things an internet exploror pops up and starts flashing.Whats the problem? Shut down !? I recently installled the free version stick pivot animator 2.5 and then it went crazy and i lost all my animations. So i clicked on it and a white page poped up and then closed. I repeated this almost 20 times. Then i uninstalled it and deleted it off my computer. Then i tryed to reinstall it and it says open or save(you know what i mean) I click open and an internet explorer pops up and starts blinking. You cant click anything. Try to close it and it pops right back up. Theni tryed to download something else. The exact same thing happened. Any suggestions, on how to repair this? Oh and i have plenty of space. I also deleted another user computer profie. So space isnt the issue. Anyone know whats wrong? Add me on yahoo messager to talk more about this! This isn't cool!
