Animations

How can I make some simple animations in 3d?

I have already tried all Autodesk's products, Lucas Arts, etc. Is there any program at all in which I can make some 3 dimensional animations without many knowledge? I want a software that is simple and easy to use. Please answer as soon as possible and I will give you your five. THANK YOU very much!

  1. Try Bryce 3D, other than that you're on the right track with Autodesk. The other options are RenderMan from Pixar and Maya (which you possibly already know about)
  2. In my computer programming class, we use Alice. It's not very advanced, but it does help you learn the basics. Got to http://www.alice.org, and go to the downloads tab. I hope you have a fast connection, it's 153MB.
  3. The very simplest 3d design/rendering program i know about is Bryce3d (also known as Bryce, currently up to version six that i'm aware of) There are many, MANY helpful tutorials on Renderocities on how to work with many of the more popular 3d programs.
  4. three dimensional and simple cannot be used in the same sentence. 3D software is usually hard to use because of the variation in workflows and products. i have used Autodesk 3ds max and animated a matrix bullet time fighting scene. 3ds max is slightly flawed, but, in my opinion, simple to use and very powerful. there is also a program called Maya, which is perfect for professional animation. of course, this works with NURBS, which can often be complex and tricky. here is a free version that you can use. you can't publish anything you make for profit, though. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=7639525 finally, there is a program called Hash Animation Master, which, as its name implies, is dedicated to...well, animation. it is comparatively cheap, and, as I've heard, easy to use. http://www.hash.com/2007web/ if you merely intend to animate generic people, you could always use e-Frontier's Poser. http://www.e-frontier.com/ it has pre modeled humans so you do not have to model them, and animation is as simple as clicking and dragging. it is cheaper than animation master. finally, here's a link to a few 3d software you can get for free. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=5562445&siteID=123112 Free version of 3ds max. not as many features, but great for beginners. http://www.blender.org/ never used it, but it has a strong support community and is modifiable. if all else fails, take a class.
  5. I will give you one idea, that Use Free GPL software for 3D Animation. You can download from http://www.blender.org Blender can do the following http://blenderartists.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=10 My Blender Work My Flash Animation Sample http://www.geocities.com/patriciaumarawal My 3D Photo Album http://finance.ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/animationjobs/photos/browse/2bdf http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/ff226/kkrawal/ http://www.youtube.com/kkrawal7 kkrawal@hotmail.com
