Steps of how to add screensavers to the Control Panel?

Where do I file my Screensavers in order that I can implement them in the Control panel Screensaver? and in what type of file can I retrieve them, example, should they be a .jpg or ACDSee or what of extension.

  1. go to the add remove and then add the screen saver to add your screen saver
  2. unless you are making your own.it's automatic when you download. If your using a photo image software that's the best place to look for HELP as some may vary.
  3. Just save them into your \windows\system , \winnt\system32 , or \windows\system32 directory (or wherever else the screensavers are stored on your system). Then right-click on your desktop and choose Properties from the popup menu. On the Display Properties configuration panel go to the Screen Saver tab/page and if you put the .scr file in the right place it should appear in the drop-down menu of available screensavers. These should work on Windows 95 and beyond. Absolutely no warranties. Enjoy!
